I'm sure if you actually called godaddy they would refer you to their "terms of service".

This company has the worst business practices I have EVER seen. I've been screwed repeatedly, blackmailed, ... insulted.... and the list goes on. Long time customer and now finally have all my domains moved "THANK GOD"!
The only registrar that bought there own name "http://www.godaddysucks.com" because truthfully,
I think they know they suck.
Also, if they haven't arrived already, expect some corporate drones to post on your blog on how GREAT or how LAME YOU are.... the "customer" ... a term godaddy.com might want to look up in the dictionary. But like his pompas stare on his massive face at his blog site implies ....
HES GOD.... and trust me... you feel the trickle down affect from the complete zeros in "support" .
and couldn't care LESS about providing quality service, customer support or anything else except getting into your wallet and ripping you off !
